June 1, 2021

Dear Church Family at First Henderson UMC,

We are now into the month of June. This is a season of hope and we can certainly see positive signs of change
as we move towards the goal of returning to normalcy. As such, with the easing of state restrictions and a
reopening to 100 percent capacities, I am pleased to announce that masks will be optional for those that are fully
vaccinated. You may of course choose to wear a mask, but one will no longer be required at our services.
Also, our Reopening Team will be attentive to any updates from our civic authorities and will make the necessary
amendments to our Reopening Plan and Covenant. Please reference our church’s “News and Notes” and ONE
CALL messages for future updates.

Please join with me in giving thanks to God for His wonderful care and protection through this pandemic season.
Although we are not quite back to normal, we can certainly see the finish line.

Let us remember the words from Psalm 39:7, which says: “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in
you.”

This is a great reminder that our ultimate hope is in God, and He will see us through to the very end.
God bless!

Your fellow brother in Christ,

Pastor Terry
