Pastor Terry Kim, Lead Pastor
Pastor Terry is originally from the New England area; born in Maine and grew up in Andover, Massachusetts.
After attending college and law school in upstate New York, and working in the legal field in places such as Hawaii and South Korea, Pastor Terry felt the calling to go into full-time ministry. He attended Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California and graduated with a M.Div. in 2014. Since then, Pastor Terry has served in various ministry roles, as an associate pastor, in central California and Washington State.
Pastor Terry wishes to continue to serve the Lord in pastoral ministry, and he strongly believes God is providing an opportunity to serve in the United Methodist church. Pastor Terry is married to his lovely wife Ivanka, and they are looking forward to being a part of the church family at First Henderson UMC, in genuine love, fellowship, and worship.
Beth Runkle, Church Secretary
Beth is a long-time member of the First Henderson family. Besides serving as the Church secretary, she is actively involved in a variety of church programs and activities. She serves on both the Communication and Education committees and is actively involved in activities such as the Pumpkin Patch and Vacation Bible School. She is a kind, dedicated and loving servant of the Lord and the Church.
Vickie Massie, Music Coordinator
As the Church Music Coordinator, Vickie manages the music requirements for the Church with the various musical groups of the church. She is the church organist, pianist, and keyboardist. One of Vickie’s passions is the annual Mary Powell Recital/Talent Show, which she has organized and directed for many years, successfully drawing out the talent of the congregation and friends. Her extensive knowledge of music adds immeasurably to the success of the many music groups and choirs of this congregation.
Pete Chengman, Church Custodian
The church custodian is responsible to the maintaining the church buildings, including the sanctuary, church offices, and classrooms. Pete is also instrumental in setting up for events, weddings, meetings, and much more. In addition, Pete is an active member of the Church, serving with the United Methodist Men’s group, as an usher and leading Bible studies.
